Zander jigging rod (in English)

Hi!

 

First of all I'd like to apologize for not being able to type this in Polish and I hope you don't mind communicating with me in English.

 

I've been looking for a new rod for Zander jigging but haven't really found the perfect rod yet. At the moment I have a Dragon X-treme Spin 25 but it doesn't really handle jigs heavier than 15g that well. Every time I've been looking in to it I always end up looking at a Polish site so why not ask you guys!

 

The rod I'm looking for is 240-270 cm long, casts up to 30 g and has a x-fast action. I've come across the Mikado Inazuma Flash Zander 240 that looks pretty good, but I'd love to hear if you guys have any other suggestions that might be even better. Does anyone have an opinion on the Mikado rod? To be honest I don't mind paying around 200€ if I can find a really good rod.

Hi Saftig - Idont know a inazuma at lenght 240 but short models (198 cm ) is working about 12 g jighead + smal 3 inch soft lure to 35 gram jig head + this same lure - a rod is fats nad good transmision. 

however i look in Uk for Major craft, graphite leader - this producers have a spining rood in price under 200 euro and class of this rood is higher than mikado - butt inazuma is verry good model ( they have a lucky )

Hello, the fishing rod mikado it is a good choice, but in the amount which you proposed I would choose Major craft how the friend is advising meme. Most probably you would also have got a bit of a problem with the purchase of the fishing rod at yourself.

I took your advice and checked out some of the MajorCraft rods. After reading some reviews about the Skyroad series of rods I went with the MajorCraft Skyroad Wind SKR-832MHW (10-28 g) which seems like a lovely rod. Nice fast action combined with Fuji guides and reelseat so it should be just what I'm looking for! Now the postal service just needs to do its job...

to be honest, I'd go to any (I don't know your hometown) fishing shop to take a look at st.croix avid rods, OK this is another price range but you get what you pay for 

or try some SPRO rods from the new catalog, I was last week in germany and I must say that the new SPRO rods series was the cheapest (and best one too) of all other rods there
