Ciekawi mnie jakbyś por?łwnał średnicę tej 10lb lineczki do 10lb Strena. Ze specyfikacji Strena wynika ?źe 10lb to ok 0,15mm a Sufixa 0,20mm. Czy wizualnie ten Sufix jest grubszy, bo czaję się na wersję 6lb do finesse o średnicy 0,14mm

Tak wygląda por?łwnanie grubości plecionek. Od g?łry: Sufix832 30 lb, Sufix832 50 lb, PP 40 lb, SSB 40 lb. Na moje oko 30-tka od sufixa ma grubość zbli?źoną do 40-tki PP (czyli jest stosunkowo grubsza).

Liga ta sama, ale kt?łre miejsce w tabeli?

 

Tak bardziej serio: mam nadzieję, ?źe sufix 832 dor?łwna strenowi sonic. Strena u?źywałem w zeszłym sezonie i na początku obecnego -byłem zadowolony z tej plecionki (nie po?źałujesz zakupu, @jamesty), no ale -jak m?łwi piosenka -wszystko ma sw?łj kres. Stren się zu?źył, trzeba było kupić nową plecionkę.

 

Sufix chwali się, ?źe jego 832 jest trwalsza od plecionek konkurencji. Publikują zdjęcia plecionek po testach. Po tysiącu cykli 832 wygląda jak nieu?źywana, zaś konkurencyjna (splot wygląda jak u strena sonic) -jest wyraźnie zmechacona. Sprawdzę tego sufixa 832 -zobaczymy ile prawdy w marketingowych hasłach.

Hi guys, I've been regularly browsing these forums for awhile now whenever I need info on equipment, and came across this post. Seems you guys have many questions regarding this braid so I decided to register and give as detailed of a review as I can, hope it helps.

 

I started using Sufix 832 about 2months ago after a friend and tackle store owner recommended it to me. I was having a terrible time with my powerpro lines breaking randomly for seemingly no reason, so I took his advice and got a 20lbs spool. A little background, I have been fishing for about 18yrs, and have been used braided lines for a couple of years now and have tried almost every braid in the market, spiderwire, fireline, powerpro, fins prt, tufline, sufix fuse etc. For awhile, I settled for powerpro as my favorite, that is til they started snapping randomly and I got this spool of sufix 832.

 

On to the braid. The first thing I noticed out of the box was the roundness and smoothness of the line. It has got to be the roundest and smoothest braid I have ever used, u can barely feel the weaves on this thing. As for suppleness, the line is not as stiff as one would expect due to the high weave count, it has just enough body to make it a breeze to handle and is no where as stiff as fireline or sufix fuse, I would place it at slightly more supple than spider-wire code red braid. Also, after 2 months, the line still retains the roundness and smoothness.

 

Moving on to knot tying, the braid ties knots like nylon! What I mean by this is, you tie a knot, wet it, pull it tight and you can literally feel the knot packing in the tighter you pull it, just like nylon. High-turn knots like a 30-turn Bimini twist that I use pack in nice and snug, neat and low profile. And unlike most other braids, when you use high-turn knots on the 832, the resulting knot is actually pretty soft and glides smoothly through the guides when casting. Another thing to note is due to the body of the line, I have noticed that I do not need to use as many turns in my knots compared to typical braided lines. I use the braid knot for my braid-to-swivel connections and typically I would do 8-10turns, while I now only do 6-7 with the 832. I have had 0 knot failures since I started using this for the record.

 

Casting. I use spinning setups 80% of the time, tho I spooled my core 51mg7 with 10lb sufix 832 2weeks ago. With regards to both spinning and bait-casting setups, the line casts like a dream. Tho most lines cast relatively well on bait-cast setups, but the 10lb 832 casts just as well as my previous 8lb spider-wire code red, heavier # with comparable cast performance, that's a plus for me. On my spinning setups, I would have to give 832 the no.1 spot. No wind knots and the line flies off the spool effortlessly. The line also handles extremely well in windy conditions.

 

Color bleeding. I use the neon green version of 832 and well all I can say is after 2 months, it's still neon green lol.

 

Sinking ability. Yes it 100% does sink. You might have to manually sink the line for the 20lb and 10lb versions but the line stays under once it goes down. As for the heavier 40-50lb versions, it sinks within seconds of hitting the water. Comparing to fluorocarbon tho, I'd say fluorocarbon sinks a little faster. But hey, it's a braided line that sinks, what more could u ask for haha.

 

Water absorption. Out of the box, it completely repels water due to the coating of course. After 2 months of very regular(3-4times a week) usage, I'd say it takes in the tiniest bit of water, but I have never come back with a soaked spool like I did with most other braids.

 

Line thickness. 832 is a relatively thin line, not the thinnest I have used but it's within acceptable ranges to me. I would put it at just about 2-3% thicker than powerpro lines of equal #. The line does get a tad thicker after wearing it in tho, but having said that, most braids do too, so it's fine with me.

 

Abrasion resistance. This is probably what most folks are looking at, so I'm glad to report that this braid has the absolute highest abrasion resistance of any braid I have ever used, period. I frequent this spot that has a broken jetty/dock within cast range. It's a rather large jetty with about 12-14 wooden support poles holding it up, and it's a hot spot for the larger fishes in the area, tho most folks stay away from it due to high snag risks. The first time I took the 832 out, I had 7 fishes take me down for a spin around those poles, during 3-4 of the fights I could literally feel the line rubbing against the wood for a good few minutes. Yet after each catch, I would find almost no fraying in the line and I did not have to cut and retie for that entire trip. I pop by this spot about once a week, so that's about 8 times now that I have been there with the 832 braid, and I have only had the line snap once due to abrasion, and another time due to the fish snagging me good and I had to break the line manually.

 

So in conclusion, sufix 832 is the best braid I have used to date, all my reels are now spooled with it, totaling in 1 reel with 10lb, 2 with 20lb, 2 with 40lb, 1 with 50lb and 1 with 65lb. Definitely blew a crater in my wallet, but I have had no regrets. Hope this helps clear the air for some folks =). Cheers.

Dla os?łb nie znających języka angielskiego: przytoczona przez Gomtoma opinia to w zasadzie pieśń pochwalna dla s832. Wygląda to niemal?źe jak spot reklamowy.

 

Nie chce mi się tłumaczyć po całości, pojadę na skr?łty. Ot?ł?ź anglojęzyczny forumowicz pisze, ?źe łowi od 18 lat, a od kilku lat na plecionki; ?źe przerobił wszystko co jest na rynku, najbardziej lubił PP, ale go zawiodła, więc za radą przyjaciela i właściciela sklepu wędkarskiego kupił 832.

Plecionka ma okrągły przekr?łj, jest gładka, giętka.

Węzły, nawet te najbardziej zakręcone (np. bimini twist), układają się idealnie i łatwo jak na ?źyłce; lepiej trzymają, mo?źna stosować mniej splot?łw, zero awarii z węzłami.

Rzuty. Idealna do spinna i casta. Śmiga jak marzenie, r?łwnie?ź w wietrznych warunkach. Ze stałoszpulowc?łw nie zeskakują zwoje, na multikach nie robią się brody.

Trzyma kolor.

Tonie niemal tak szybko jak fluorocarbon.

Nie chłonie wody, r?łwnie?ź po dw?łch miesiącach u?źytkowania.

Nie najcieńsza, ale stosunkowo cienka. 2-3% cieńsza od PP (???)

Odporność na przecieranie. Odporniejsza od jakiejkolwiek i kiedykolwiek. Człowiek łowi na miejsc?łwce z zatopionymi słupami od zrujnowanego pomostu, siedmiokrotnie ryby wchodziły mu pomiędzy pale, kilka razy ryba przeciągła go po tych palach (znaczy tarła plecionką po drewnie), a on ją spokojnie wyholował. Nawet nie musiał przewiązywać linki, bo ta była wcią?ź niemal nienaruszona. Był tam 8 razy i tylko raz ryba przetarła plecionkę, a innym razem weszła w zaczep i sam musiał rwać.

Podsumowując, sufix 832 to najlepsza plecionka jakiej dotychczas u?źywałem, mam ją teraz nawiniętą na wszystkie kołowrotki, a dokładnie 1 kołowrotek z 10lb, 2 z 20lb, 2 z 40lb, 1 z 50lb oraz 1 z 65lb. Z pewnością wywaliło to krater w moim portfelu, ale nigdy tego nie po?źałowałem. Mam nadzieję, ?źe to pomo?źe rozwiać wątpliwości niekt?łrych z Was =). Dzięki.
