It seems there may have been a send out issue and you may have you not been receiving our email updates.

 

Here is the latest on our pre-order updates. Some of this is a recap to our last updates.

 

• We started shipping units at the end of June. We are fulfilling units in the same order we received.

• Our inventory is coming in 3 separate batches. The first 2 batches have already been shipped out.

 

So far the feedback has been good on the cameras, and we hope you enjoy yours as well.

 

What’s coming:

 

• The third and final batch (which is where yours will be) will arrive in 4 weeks.

• Once they arrive we will start to ship them out, but it will take a few days to process orders and bring the packages to the shipping company.

• Your products within 3-6 days of that.

 

We appreciate your patience to this point! It has definitely been quite the journey to get to this point.

 

Other information:

 

• Just a note, the mobile apps are still in BETA and we need your feedback to perfect them. Please give us the opportunity to work out kinks, if any.

• You can find the mobile apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• The Android app is a little behind the iOS app, but we are working hard to get it to where it needs to be. It may take a couple weeks.

• Both apps have slightly slower processing speeds when reviewing, editing, and sharing footage, and we’re also constantly working with our team on speeding up and upgrading the apps.

• You’ll notice we make ongoing updates and will continue to do so as you give feedback on the apps and as we receive logs of any bugs or crashes ran into.

Hi Maciej,

 

First off, I want to say thank you for being patient with us while we ramp up production for the next batch of shipments. We have a hand-full of good news items and a few bad news items.

 

We will start with the bad news.

 

The bad news is that the cameras are not going to be ready to ship for another 45-60 days. They will ship out prior to December 15, 2017. Our factory had a delay in parts and we’ve been asking for weeks for answers. Only recently did they give us this hard date. We are still going to work to improve the timelines but the date highlighted above is the longer lead time for the inventory.

We will upgrade the shipping to 1-5 day shipping for free so that everyone will receive their units before the Holidays! Customer support is extremely important to us, so we apologize a thousand times and more. We hate being the bearer of bad news.

 

Now the good news.

 

The first production run of GoFish Cams was successful. We shipped cameras to Kickstarter backers, indiegogo backers, and a number of website customers, and got solid feedback. We also asked these clients to provide as much negative feedback as possible and we used the customer feedback to build a list of adjustments and improvements. As we wait for the next batch of cameras to ship to you, we’re enhancing our mobile applications and making the camera even better. Therefore, you’ll have version 2.0 which are better than ever.

 

Again I appreciate your patience. Please know we're working hard to get you your GoFish Cam as soon as possible. With our limited resources, and being a new company it has been a journey with ups and downs. Should you have any questions, please let me know. Pozytywami jest to, że kamery będą, spóźnione ale będą. Jakość z tego co widać już na YT zabija WaterWolfa. Przejrzałem setki godzin materiału z WW i mówię Wam, że jest naprawdę dobrze. Dodatkowo jak się okazuje GoFish Camy nagrywają 1080p w 60kl na sek co daje nam odrobinę Slow Motion. Z tego co jest napisane w emeilu powyżej dostaniemy już ulepszoną wersję 2.0 co może być tylko lepiej. 

 

Kolejnym pozytywem jest to, że cena kamer skoczyła do góry. Jak już będą dostępne od ręki mają kosztować 239,99$. Opcja zakupu 10szt tak jak to zrobiliśmy wynosi teraz $1649.90.

After yesterday’s email we’ve received a few responses from people requesting manufacturing visuals, proof of shipment from the first production run, and more importantly client footage. We’re happy to provide information in that regard to put your minds at ease.  

 

See the concerns and answers below:

 

“How do we know this timeline is for real this time?”

We are working extremely hard to meet timelines. Frankly, we had more orders than we planned, and as such, had to increase production capacity of manufacturing operations.  This is not an easy thing to do. However, we’ve figured it out and have ramped up operations to meet our new timelines. We’ll also be sending a member of our team to go down to China and oversee the run to meet this date.

 

“How do we know you’re actually manufacturing and shipping  and not still in prototype stage?”

As mentioned we’ve been shipping product for a couple months now. We shipped over 1000 units to 64 countries, fulfilling our Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and early website orders. The remaining orders we’re filling first-come first-serve.  Essentially, you’re next in line and they’re coming soon!
